At Online Door Store we want to get your new doors to you as quickly as possible, safely and with a minimum of fuss. Please do call us if you have any questions or concerns.

If you have a critical deadline please call first to seek advice and to check if your door is in stock.

Standard delivery is FREE for orders over £750 including vat.

Please note that our suppliers cannot arrange delivery without an attended mobile contact number.

A  signature is required for all deliveries so there must be someone at the delivery address from 8:00 am through to 7:00 pm to accept the delivery.

A delivery time frame may or may not be given by the supplier company.

Any delivery damage must be reported within 24 hours, by email, with supporting images. Otherwise no exchanges or refunds can be considered.

1. Delivery Details

We use a variety of transport providers dependent upon how many doors have been ordered, where in the country you are, and which speed of service you would prefer. We ask you to give precise details for the delivery and also two phone numbers so that our partners can contact you to arrange the delivery, so you are inconvenienced as little as possible. Please see below for delivery charges and also target delivery timescales. The target for standard delivery is between three and five working days. This is only possible if the door is in stock at the suppliers.  We deliver to uk Mainland addresses only. (LPD can deliver to N.I. for a £85 surcharge) If you are overseas we can ship to a mainland freight forwarder of your choice. If you order doors from different brand suppliers there will be extra delivery charges to pay, this is unavoidable because we have to pay each supplier separately. We will call you to take an extra payment in this case.

2. Standard Delivery Charges

Our standard delivery charges depend upon the number of items in your order.

Delivery of your first door will be charged at £48.00 including vat.

Delivery of each extra item will be charged at £7.00 including vat.

There are surcharges to pay for certain outlying mainland postcodes and Northern Ireland. We will contact you on these.

3. Express Priority Service

We can offer an Express priority delivery service if you wish. Certain postcodes cannot be delivered to by express. Please call to check.

Express delivery carries a surcharge of £54.00 including vat, on top of the standard shipping charges. There is just one charge per delivery.

We can deliver by Express (within one or two working days) as long as your payment reaches us by 10:00 a.m. on the day of your order. Orders paid after 10:00 a.m. on a Friday cannot be delivered until the following Tuesday.

4. Standard Delivery Timescales

Our standard delivery timescales are either 3 working days or 5 working days according to your postcode. These are the target time-frames, please always allow for up to five working days. It is dependant on the door being in stock at the suppliers.

Please call if you need to be certain of a delivery by a certain date.

If you are not completely satisfied with your order you can return it to us and we will issue a refund.

You can cancel your order for any standard item (all items excluding made to measure doors and painted to order doors) purchased on this website and obtain a refund. You are entitled to a 14 working day “cooling off” period from the date you receive your goods so you need to notify us of your request for a refund within 14 working days from your delivery date for your refund to be valid. Outbound  delivery and express delivery fees will not be refunded. 20% of the value of the door will be deducted from your refund and collection charges will apply. Collection charges will apply even if you had outbound free delivery.

No return or refund will be possible unless the door AND its original packaging are 100% intact.

All refunds, for whatever reason, and irrespective of where any fault lies are subject to a deduction of the card fees and administration costs.

At Online Door Store we understand that purchasing doors can be a big decision that you want to get right. The new doors for your project are a significant investment in time and money. We want to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible.

The product page shows the stock status of each particular size of any given door on the size selector: ‘low stock’, ‘good stock’ and ‘no stock’. If an item is ‘out of stock’ we show an expected due date.  In this case we encourage stock reservation and pre-ordering.

Delivery out to you should be 5 to 10 days after the due date given.

We obtain regular, daily stock up-dates from our key suppliers. Every effort is made to ensure that this information is as accurate as possible. This is not just our stock, but it is the central supplier’s stock serving the whole of the U.K., that is 20 million households.

We show stock levels for a number of reasons:

  • To avoid causing disappointment when your door is not available after you have ordered it.
  • To enable you to reserve stock against new deliveries coming in from abroad.
  • To give you an idea as to whether you still have time to think about it.
  • When stock is ‘Low’ it can disappear in a flash, so we warn you there is no time to waste.
  • We show a date when new stock is due to arrive so you can plan that in with your project.


The vast majority of doors sold in the U.K. come in from factories abroad. They only arrive in limited quantities and the doors are pre-sold by our suppliers. So once a container arrives, often, most of that load has already been allocated to pre-orders. We can reserve stock for you by placing an order on your behalf with our supplier. As soon as the doors are quality checked and booked into the central warehouse the Home Delivery Team will be in touch to arrange a date with you.

Please be aware that the actual arrival dates can slip for a number of reasons, and this is really beyond anyone’s control. But once the doors are reserved for you, they are yours. If you need an update regarding your delivery date, please email orders@onlinedoorstore.co.uk quoting the name on the order and the order number. Also please note that stock levels given can change really quickly too, so please do not delay in placing your order.

If part of your order is in-stock and part of it is out-of-stock, we can arrange delivery of the in-stock items up front with the rest to follow. There is a selector on the checkout for you to instruct us whether you would like your order shipped in multiple deliveries as each part comes into stock, or in one delivery when the last item has come back into stock. If stock seems to 'run-out' while you are ordering you can place a new Pre-order for the remainder of your doors the next day when the availability has been updated.

If we are showing a door as out-of-stock, then there are none available in the country. So, it is fruitless to search elsewhere. Place your order with us and we will reserve the stock for you at the supplier, ready for when it does become available.
