Door Sizes

Here at Online Door Store we are often asked about the sizes of doors. Here in the uk doors have been made in fairly standard sizes since approximately the 1970s.

In general (but this is not a rule!) there are roughly four standard sizes of doors which are as follows:

Inches    -        Metric          -  Imperial
24” x 78”   610 x 1981 mm     2’ x 6' 6”
27” x 78”   686 x 1981 mm     2'3” x 6'6”
30” x 78”   762 x 1981 mm     2'6” x 6'6”
33” x 78”   838 x 1981 mm     2'9” x 6'6

However this does not mean that one of these sizes will be the size that you require so always check.

This list shows all the internal door sizes available at online door store. Not all doors come in all sizes. You can filter for your required size and find which designs are available.

Most of our doors come with metric and imperial measurements and we can accommodate most size requirements.
Some doors have larger trimming allowances than others, choosing carefully you can sometimes cut a door down to your precise required size.
