Aster Doors – Top Quality Specification

The top-quality specification for all Aster Doors includes a thick premium grade White Oak veneer. This generous un-finished oak veneer is ready for your own choice of decoration. This can be a clear or a coloured varnish or a wax or oil treatment. Otherwise if you prefer a painted finish you can apply very dry primer coats with a finishing top coat in the colour of your choice.

The veneer covers a 100% solid, engineered fibre board core. This engineered material specifically resists shrinkage, expansion and warping over time. This solid core also enables you to fit handles and locks either side and at whichever height you desire. These are sturdy and heavy-weight doors that have a re-assuring quality feel. So, we always recommend three good quality hinges per door.

Two layers of 10mm lippings on each side give up to 6mm trimming allowance. This allows your joiner to make any necessary adjustments so your new doors will fit to even the most awkward of frames.
