Contemporary Fire Doors

Sometimes there is a panel effect with "v" grooves cut into the face or alternating woodgrain patterns. All contemporary fire doors have an FD30 rating for a thirty minutes barrier against the danger of fire.

Do I need a contemporary fire door?

They do this by confining the fire to a specific area for a longer period of time. They have a solid engineered hardwood core. on top of that they are 44mm thick. And then they are trimmed with two layers of 10mm lippings. A good, secure, solid design.

What colours are available for modern fire doors?

You may want to choose a new set of  doors but find the ‘natural wood’ look a bit out-dated? For this reason our contemporary doors also come in a variety of colours. Similarly, the natural wood designs shown on this page are also available in a white primed finish. And there is nothing finer than a double coat of factory applied primer to give the very best start to a decorated door. 

The door is pre-sealed to give protection until the final coat of paint goes on. And when the doors arrive and are hung ready-primed there really is a feeling of already being over half way there.
