Installation

The installation of the Deanta Ely Prefinished Oak Internal Glazed Door (5L) is designed to be user-friendly and straightforward. Regarding storage and acclimatisation; your doors must be stored horizontally on a clean, dry, flat and level surface in your home for at least 7 days prior to installation. Please do not store your doors in a freshly plastered room or in an unheated shed or garage.

The door is pre-finished meaning it is ready to hang with no further decoration required. Ensure that any new door frame is square and plumb before installation for optimal fit and function. One big advantage with Deanta doors is their very generous trimming allowance.

For hinge installation, we recommend using a minimum of three, 3" (three inch) quality hinges conforming to BS EN 1935. Three hinges will support the weight of the door and prevent warping.

It is essential to comply with local fire regulations if you are installing in areas requiring fire-rated doors.

To achieve the best results, hiring a professional joiner is advisable to ensure proper installation and finishing.
