Installation

The installation of the Ash Grey Vancouver FD30 Fire Door is designed to be user-friendly and straightforward. Regarding storage and acclimatisation; your doors must be stored horizontally on a clean, dry, flat and level surface in your home for at least 7 days prior to installation. Please do not store your doors in a freshly plastered room or in an unheated shed or garage.

For hinge installation, we recommend using a minimum of three, 3" (three inch) quality hinges conforming to BS EN 1935. Three hinges will support the weight of the door and prevent warping.
